'Maybe people will stop sleeping on us' - Hull enjoy dream return
Relegation favourites Hull City start the season well with a victory over Manchester United as their manager says "we are trying to prove people wrong".
Hull City stunned Manchester United in their Premier League comeback, leaving many to question their abilities. Manager Sergej Jakirovic, the first Bosnian-Herzegovinian to manage in the top flight, stated that the team aims to prove everyone wrong. Semi Ajayi and Nobel Mendy scored in the first half, marking the Tigers' first Premier League win against United since 1974. Despite being predicted to finish at the bottom of the table, Hull's victory suggests they may be more than just a one-off success story.
