Mansour Abbas calls for recognition of a Palestinian state

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu firmly denied the establishment of a Palestinian state under Iranian influence, assuring that no such state would be tolerated in Gaza or the West Bank during his leadership. He firmly stated that his government would not allow the formation of a state controlled by Iran in these regions. The Prime Minister's stance came in response to remarks made by Mansour Abbas, the leader of the United Arab List.

Upon receiving Abbas's comments, Netanyahu wrote: "As long as I am prime minister, there will not be a Palestinian state controlled by Iran—neither in Gaza nor in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). Period." He further criticized his political opponents, connecting their positions to the potential formation of a left-wing coalition involving the Muslim Brotherhood.

Netanyahu declared that the requirement for forming such a coalition had been exposed, mentioning that these potential partners included Eisenkot, Liberman, and Trooper, who boycott Likud voters but also support the political aspirations of Tibi and Balad.

Netanyahu's response came in the wake of Abbas's earlier statements during a United Arab List conference, where he asserted that the State of Palestine exists and is recognized by most countries in the world, except for the United States and the occupation.
