The accompanying dust and sand blown by these stronger winds could reduce visibility, particularly around developing cloud formations. Overnight humidity will rise, particularly over western areas, potentially leading to mist formation.

The trend of convective cloud development and potential rain continues into Sunday, August 23, with similar conditions expected to persist through Tuesday, August 26. Monday brings a continued chance of showers in eastern regions, while Tuesday and Wednesday may see more widespread afternoon rainfall, accompanied by gusty winds capable of stirring up more dust and sand.
