Gujranwala Man Takes Rs. 4 Crore from Australian Transgender in Fake Marriage Scam

In a case reported by police in Gujranwala, a man named Usman and his father Qasim have been accused of embezzling over Rs. 40 million from an Australian transgender individual through a fraudulent marriage arrangement. The incident came to light after the complainant lodged a complaint with Ladhewala Warraich Police Station.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), Usman initially established contact with the Australian transgender person via TikTok in 2024. The two developed a relationship, and the complainant even visited Pakistan twice. Allegedly, Usman arranged a fake marriage certificate, which was subsequently registered at Union Council No. 39. In exchange for this document, Usman is accused of receiving more than Rs. 40 million from the complainant through various financial transactions.

The Australian transgender individual further alleged that Usman and his family members restrained them upon their attempted return to Australia, demanding additional money for their release. Additionally, it is alleged that Usman and his family demanded Australian visas from the complainant.

Nevertheless, the complainant miraculously managed to escape on June 1 and reached Lahore. The police have taken both Usman and his father Qasim into custody, and they are currently undergoing further investigation. It is important to note that the allegations have not been proven in court.

The story of the Gujranwala man who allegedly defrauded an Australian transgender person of Rs. 4 crore in a fake marriage scam was initially reported on ProPakistani.
