Deepinder Goyal says Temple wearable to ship by end of 2026, pre-orders ‘very soon’

Deepinder Goyal, founder of Temple, a wearable tech startup backed by Zomato and Eternal, announced that pre-orders for the experimental health-focused device will be available soon. In a recent X post, Goyal stated that the Temple wearable is now less than half the size of its previous depiction and is the smallest wearable on the market by volume.

The device, which focuses on tracking real-time cerebral blood flow and neurological markers, is being prepared for a limited launch edition, with shipments expected before the end of 2026. Goyal invited interested users to join Temple’s mailing list for updates. Despite the device's potential, experts have raised concerns about its efficacy and emphasized the need for rigorous scientific validation before being considered a credible medical tool.

Temple is currently priced at around Rs 75-80 lakh and could debut at a similar price point to attract premium customers. The startup is looking to initiate another funding round with a $500-million valuation. Temple is designed based on the 'Gravity Ageing Hypothesis,' aiming to measure minute fluctuations in cerebral blood flow and oxygenation, providing real-time data on how posture, activity, and lifestyle affect brain health over time.
