Da Lat, nearby areas seek investment in infrastructure, tourism, agriculture

Authorities in Da Lat and the neighboring Lam Dong Province are actively seeking investment to boost infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, and urban development. This comes after a conference attended by over 250 representatives from various local wards and communes, including Xuan Huong-Da Lat, Lam Vien-Da Lat, Xuan Truong-Da Lat, Cam Ly-Da Lat, Lang Biang-Da Lat, and Lac Duong Commune.

During the 2026 conference, local leaders showcased their area's potential, advantages, and developmental goals. They also presented a list of projects that are in need of investment, including those in tourism, services, the night economy, high-tech agriculture, and other sectors that align with Lam Dong Province's socio-economic strategies.

Investors and businesses shared their challenges, particularly focusing on administrative procedures, financing mechanisms, and infrastructure. They proposed solutions to create a more conducive environment for investment, production, and business activities. Nguyen Van Loc, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Huong-Da Lat Ward, emphasized that investment attraction should not only aim to attract capital but also ensure the presence of high-quality projects with strong implementation capacity.

These projects should effectively utilize resources, create employment opportunities, raise local incomes, contribute to the local budget, protect the environment, and support sustainable development.
