AI Enables Nigerians to Build Global Businesses Without Relocating, Says Data Analyst

Lagos-based data analyst and technology entrepreneur Gabriel James has authored a book on artificial intelligence (AI), titled "The AI-Powered Data Analyst," aiming to assist data professionals in integrating AI tools into their daily workflows. The book, published by Packt Publishing, is set to be released in January 2027 and provides practical insights into using AI in data analysis, based on James' experience building and teaching data skills in Africa.

James, founder of Datafrik.co and several other ventures, has worked with three US-based tech companies and founded two AI-powered platforms, Carbud for Nigerian motorists and BlackPythonLovers to teach Python programming to Nigerians. His ventures showcase the potential of African technology professionals to compete globally from Nigeria, despite lacking the need for relocation.

AI is breaking traditional barriers to entrepreneurship, enabling business development and international market participation without leaving the country. This aligns with the growing global interest in AI's practical applications, particularly as professionals seek to leverage emerging technologies to complement rather than replace existing skills.
