Democratic Party of Korea prepares for 'Democratic Party TV' with Kim Min-seok, reviewing broadcasting in Kim Eoreun's YouTube time slot

The Democratic Party is preparing to launch its own television channel, ‘민주당TV,’ with the goal of competing against Kim Ee-jun's YouTube broadcasts. Party representative Kim Min-seok is reportedly considering various ways for Kim Min-seok himself to appear on the channel. The upcoming launch is targeted for the second day of the following month, with discussions ongoing about specific broadcast times, specifically around 7 am.

The party is also considering changing the name of its existing YouTube channel, ‘델리민주 [더불어민주당],’ to ‘민주당TV.’ The channel’s current subscriber base stands at around 47,200. This move is seen by some as a direct challenge to Kim Ee-jun’s popular YouTube program, ‘김어준의 겸손은 힘들다 뉴스공장,’ which airs in the same time slot on weekdays.
