Third Reiger Park suspect’s case postponed to 25 August for bail bid

Elvino Crafford, the third suspect in the Reiger Park mass shooting case, made an appearance in Boksburg Magistrate’s Court. He claimed that he was assaulted and suffered injuries, including bruises, during his arrest by police. Crafford’s case has been adjourned to 25th August for a formal bail application. He is anticipated to be joined by his co-accused, Jamal Meyer, and Regan Collis.

It was also revealed during the proceedings that Crafford and Collis are related. Both Crafford and Collis are represented by the same lawyer, Samkhele Khuzani, who also represents the other two accused. The trio is facing charges in connection with the shooting that resulted in the deaths of two women and two anti-gang unit officers earlier this month.
