Tambuwal meets Defense Minister over insecurity in Sokoto

Sokoto South senator Aminu Tambuwal met with the former Minister of Defense, General Christopher Musa, on Friday to address the ongoing insecurity in Sokoto state. Tambuwal, along with the representative of Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency, outlined the persistent security issues in the Kebbe and Tambuwal local government areas (LGAs) and the entire state.

They emphasized the urgent need for increased security presence, additional resources, and sustained actions to protect lives and property, allowing people to conduct their livelihoods without fear. The former defense minister assured them of the Federal Government's commitment to resolving the situation and pledged additional resources and operational support to bolster security efforts in the affected regions.

Tambuwal expressed gratitude for these assurances and the prospects of swift action, emphasizing that the security and well-being of the people remain the top priority. They vowed to persistently engage with relevant authorities until lasting peace and security are restored to their communities.
