Sultan Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Shah is pleased to assist his wife, who is severely distressed, following a road accident in the Pan-Borneo Highway, Sarawak, according to a statement from the Kingdom of Pahang on Facebook. The Sultan, who was en route to Kuching from Lundu, witnessed the collision involving two victims on motorbikes and a car.

Immediately, the Sultan ordered for ambulances within the convoy to rush the injured parties to Lundu Hospital for treatment, as reported by the Kingdom of Pahang on Facebook. The Sultan also took the time to comfort the distressed couple before continuing his journey to Kuching. In January, the Sultan again showed his kindness by stopping to help a road accident victim near the East Coast Highway, ensuring that the Sultan's escort brought the victim to Temerloh Hospital for medical attention.
