Sultan Al-Shammari uses social media to promote Saudi culture in Spain

Sultan Al-Shammari, born in the United States and raised in Spain, is leveraging TikTok to showcase Saudi tourism and the rich heritage of Hail, his ancestral homeland. The student explains that his time in Spain prompted him to introduce the world to Saudi culture and the diverse landmarks found in his country.

Al-Shammari spoke with Al Arabiya Saudi, sharing that he maintains a TikTok channel where he highlights Saudi culture and points out the country's unique attractions. He admitted to facing challenges being away from his family in Saudi Arabia, yet remains in close contact with them.

His father shared that Sultan was born in Spain and developed an early interest in learning Spanish. The elder Al-Shammari noted that his son's social media presence in Spain sends a welcoming message to visitors, inviting them to explore the Kingdom's many beautiful tourist attractions. He also emphasized that Sultan has managed to preserve Saudi traditions while living abroad.
