Siddharth fooled Aditi Rao Hydari with 20-30 fake proposals: ‘Let me tie my shoelace’

Aditi Rao Hydari found herself believing that Siddharth had been proposing to her 20-30 times over a year, each time he appeared to tie his shoelace. In a recent interview, the actor revealed the adorable story behind his real proposal. He planned to take Aditi to her grandfather's school, a place where cherished childhood memories were made.

With a friend's speaker and camera, Siddharth sang a special song for Aditi while on one knee. When she questioned him about his next step, the actor playfully asked if she wanted him to tie his shoelace, joking that he needed to go home. Siddharth confessed to Zoom TV that he had been rehearsing for the big moment for an entire year before the genuine proposal.

A licensed rehabilitation counsellor and psychotherapist, Sonal Khangarot, shared that there isn't a universal "right time" to propose, but rather it depends on the couple's subjective reality and whether they feel aligned about taking the next step together.
