Rajnath Singh Records Video Message, Calls Congress Stand On Vande Mataram 'Unconstitutional'

He specifically linked the Congress's 1937 resolution to the partition of India, alleging that the compromise with the Muslim League weakened national unity and contributed to the event. The Congress recently reaffirmed its 1937 position on Vande Mataram amid political debate over the song's status and place alongside the national anthem, Jana Gana Mana.
