Dubai-based actress Shamna Kasim has joined Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Jailer 2' for the first song titled 'Ala Bolelo'. Composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander, the upbeat dance track features Rajinikanth alongside the Malayalam actor. Shamna is seen performing in a traditional kasavu saree, adding an Onam touch to the film's promotional material.
The four-minute lyrical video blends Tamil cinema's mass appeal with Kerala-inspired visuals. Onam 2026 in UAE will be celebrated for 11 days instead of 10, and Rajinikanth makes an appearance in the video, seemingly enjoying the performance. Actress and dance instructor Shamna Kasim's husband is a Dubai-based businessman. The song, written by Arunraja Kamaraj, has sparked online discussions due to perceived visual errors and some viewers criticizing the pronunciation of Malayalam words.
'Jailer 2' is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran, with Rajinikanth reprising his role as 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian.
