Nollywood stars pray for Ogogo’s divine healing

Veteran Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, also known as Ogogo, is facing health challenges that have brought together Nollywood stars and filmmakers in the industry for prayers. A video shared on social media shows prominent figures such as Jide Kosoko, Fausat Balogun, Yinka Quadri, Rotimi Salami, Mr Latin, Adewale Elesho and Antar Laniyan joining in a heartfelt prayer session for Ogogo, seeking Allah's mercy, divine intervention, strength and complete recovery.

This gathering comes as Ogogo's family and colleagues are calling for prayers and support due to growing concern over his health. Kosoko, in a statement on his Instagram page, appreciated the public's concern and support, but explained that Ogogo's current medical condition prevents him from being moved to another facility despite offers of spiritual and medical assistance.

The actor's daughters had previously sought medical help for their father, who was reportedly battling stage-four cancer. The prayer session emphasizes the solidarity within the Nigerian entertainment industry, as colleagues rallied around Ogogo during his health battle.
