Nigerian-American beauty queen Victoria Oluwakotanmi has been named the new Miss Grand USA 2026, replacing Mekayla Li, whose title was recently revoked. The Miss Grand USA organization made the announcement on social media following Li's departure from the title. Oluwakotanmi, who finished as the first runner-up in the pageant, will now represent the United States at the international level.
The organization praised her appointment as the beginning of an extraordinary journey filled with purpose and opportunity, and expressed excitement for the experiences ahead. Li's reign was terminated after revelations of a 2024 hit-and-run and a previous marriage came to light.
