NCC leader and MP Fadiel Adams to return to the witness stand

National Coloured Congress (NCC) leader and Member of Parliament Fadiel Adams is set to return to the witness stand on Friday morning at the Madlanga Commission. The proceedings were briefly halted on Thursday to grant Adams the chance to review recordings of his conversations with the Investigation Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC).

Adams is a key player in the Section 27 affidavit that led to the investigation and subsequent prosecution of seven Crime Intelligence officials. The recordings contain discussions about supplementary affidavits, which will be introduced alongside relevant documents when the recordings are played. Following the playback, Adams will have the opportunity to point out and address any pertinent information from the recordings that he wishes to incorporate into his testimony.
