Nasarawa: Sule reacts to rescue of kidnap victim, arrest of three suspects by DSS

The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi A. Sule, has lauded the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security entities for their successful rescue of a kidnapped individual and the apprehension of three suspects allegedly involved in the crime in Lafia. According to a statement released by the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Mallam Ibrahim Addra, the operation led to the arrest of one suspect at a hideout in Atabula, Duduguru, while two more were captured in Lafia.

The security forces also dismantled a criminal camp and seized money and five mobile phones during the mission.

Sule hailed the operation as a major security victory, emphasizing that the united effort showcased the commitment of law enforcement personnel to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard citizens throughout the state. He urged the security agencies to keep up their efforts and intensify their pursuit of individuals and groups linked to kidnapping and other forms of criminality.

The Governor assured the security forces of his administration's ongoing support and cooperation, while also calling upon residents to stay vigilant and report any credible information that could aid security personnel in preventing and addressing security threats.

He emphasized that sustained collaboration between security agencies, the government, and citizens is crucial to maintaining peace and protecting lives and property across Nasarawa State.
