NADRA e-Sahulat Centres to Issue Land Ownership Records in KP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has given the go-ahead for land ownership records, or fards, to be issued through NADRA e-Sahulat centres, aiming to make the service more accessible to citizens. Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi approved the idea during a meeting on reforms in the Revenue Department, instructing authorities to launch the facility by next week for immediate use.

Land fards will now be available at NADRA e-Sahulat centres alongside the Revenue Department's existing service delivery centres. This change, according to the chief minister, will save time and money by eliminating the need for citizens to travel to government offices for land records. Afridi emphasized the importance of people-friendly governance, stating that providing facilities at citizens' doorsteps is a priority.

The system will also enhance transparency, convenience, and ease of access for the public. Additionally, payments for government fees and other service charges related to land fards will be entirely cashless. During the meeting, officials also discussed the draft Land Acquisition Bill 2026. CM Afridi directed officials to incorporate special provisions in the proposed law to prevent delays in the land acquisition process, urging the authorities to finalize the draft promptly and submit it for approval.
