Murder mystery in Bugis: Can you solve the case in this new Sherlock Holmes adventure game?
Hidden has lauched A Studio In Red, an official Sherlock Holmes adventure across Bugis Street, Bugis Junction and Bugis+ that combines real-world exploration, puzzle solving, and exploration in 90 minutes.
A new Sherlock Holmes adventure game, titled "A Study In Red: The Official Sherlock Experience," has launched in Singapore. Developed by Hidden, a Singapore-based real-world gaming studio, the 90-minute real-world murder mystery tour takes place across Bugis Street, Bugis Junction, and Bugis+. Players become investigators for 221b Consultants, working with Sherlock and Watson, whom they can communicate with via a secure chat group on their phones.
Teams of up to five must start at the 221b office in Bugis Street, solve a puzzle to receive a password, and then embark on a quest to explore a room with a dead body, discover clues, and solve puzzles along the way. The game is mostly indoor and air-conditioned, making it suitable for families and couples. Created by Lee Yee Hung, CEO of Hidden, the game was developed in consultation with The Conan Doyle Estate and doesn't use AI for the final product.
Upon completion, players receive a Sherlock Holmes notebook. Hidden plans to bring the game to London's Baker Street in the future.
