Morayo Brown’s husband reveals premarital abstinence request from mother-in-law

In February, Morayo Brown and her husband Brown celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on a television show. During a recent resurfaced video from the episode, Brown revealed his mother-in-law's request that he abstain from premarital sex until they got married. Brown recounted how his mother-in-law privately appealed to him with the plea, "Do not have sex with your girlfriend until you get married."

Brown stated that he took the request seriously, viewing it as an act of obedience to God. Brown said, "So it was on that baseline I just decided that, okay, if truly God is going to do something because we did not have sex before marriage, well, let me just take a chance. Not as if I've never had sex before, it's not such a big deal." The couple's revelation comes as they mark 15 years of marriage.
