Microsoft is hiring a principal legal engineer to build AI agents and train its lawyers to use them, with base pay running from $147,000 to $278,900 a year. The LinkedIn listing, first reported by Business Insider, asks for a practising attorney with seven years of experience and hands-on knowledge of AI legal tools like Harvey or Copilot. Palantir posted a similar role just last month.
