Mendoza's 'no girlfriend' vow faces test as Alysa Liu dating rumors swirl
Following a triumphant win against the Houston Texans, Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza expressed previously that his focus was on football, sidelining romance. However, fans are buzzing about his recent outing with Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu. The duo sparked dating speculation after they enjoyed a video game together and were spotted at the renowned 2026 ESPY Awards ceremony.
Fernando Mendoza, the Las Vegas Raiders' No. 1 overall pick, has a policy of avoiding relationships, stating that girls can be "very distracting." In a resurfaced clip, he explained his decision to avoid relationships, saying he didn't have time for a girlfriend as he would have to give her his full attention. However, recently, rumors have surfaced that Mendoza may have a girlfriend, after being spotted with Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu.
The two were seen playing Fortnite together, sharing Instagram Stories, and even appeared together at the 2026 ESPY Awards. These sightings have led fans and media to speculate about a romantic relationship between the two, despite Mendoza's previous statement about his no-girlfriend policy.
