Lindsay Clancy trial: Candace Owens blames ‘big pharma’, says she was put into ‘intentional psychosis'

Candace Owens, a prominent conservative commentator, has spoken out about the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, claiming that Clancy was put into an "intentional psychosis" by the medical treatments she received. Clancy is accused of killing her three children in January 2023. Owens stated that Clancy "should not be held criminally responsible" for the deaths, arguing that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and should not be held accountable for her actions.

The defense team has supported Owens' claims, with psychologist Paul Zeizel testifying that Clancy suffered from bipolar disorder and was in the grip of postpartum psychosis at the time of the killings. Zeizel said Clancy "had no appreciation for the wrongfulness of her act." However, the trial has not yet established that doctors intentionally caused Clancy's psychosis.
