LASU graduate bags Canadian varsity scholarship

David Akinwunmi, a law graduate from Lagos State University, has been awarded admission to the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, with financial assistance including full tuition and a scholarship. The scholarship, combined with another law foundation scholarship, amounts to CAD $45,000 over two years. Akinwunmi, who has already begun his studies, expressed gratitude towards the support received, stating that it is a testament to his dedication and the confidence the institution has in him.

The graduate's research will focus on comparing Nigeria's and Canada's tax laws and administration, exploring how Canada has integrated indigenous tax systems into its fiscal administration.
