Ladakh viral video: Woman apologises to Indian Army over Minamarg checkpost row

A woman who sparked outrage after being caught on camera lashing out at Indian Army personnel at a checkpost in Ladakh has issued an apology, according to a recent interview with NDTV. The incident took place at the Minamarg Check Post, where the woman was seen arguing with the security personnel over the alleged closure of the road due to security reasons.

In the viral video, the woman can be heard repeatedly demanding that the Army stop blocking the checkpost, with one statement translating to "We will not tolerate this nonsense!" The woman, who was traveling from Ladakh to Delhi, claimed that she and her companions were unaware of a VIP movement that caused the delay. Upon inquiring about the duration of the delay, a soldier informed the group that they would have to wait for an additional hour.

Upon learning about the video and the ensuing controversy, the woman reached out to the Indian Army for an apology. In the interview with NDTV, she expressed her deep admiration for the Indian Army, stating that she could never have imagined that her words could cause discomfort to them. The woman emphasized that her judgment was clouded during the incident, and she regretted the impact her words had on the Army personnel.
