Kailaras Sugar Mill To Restart In Morena, Congress Legislator On Fast

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: The Kailaras sugar mill in Morena district is set to restart operations following the government's decision to reopen the facility. This move comes after Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed frustration over the situation. Agriculture Minister Aidal Singh Kansana informed media that the reopening process has commenced, with the Chief Minister issuing directives to bring the unit back into action.

The government plans to initiate the endeavor through the Micro, Medium, and Small Enterprises (MSME) sector, with proposals from the directors of prominent sugar factories being considered. Upon demarcating the land for the factory, the government intends to establish industrial clusters to facilitate the creation of MSME units.

The cabinet had approved the transfer of the land from the Kailaras sugar mill to MSME on August 19 of the previous year. Yadav's anger was evident when he stated that if the government was not taking over the land, Kansana should have communicated this information to the public. The issue has also sparked a disagreement between two senior leaders of the BJP over the sugar factory land allocation.
