The Generation Essential (NYSE:TGE; LSE: TGE), comprising The Art Newspaper and L’Officiel, is seeking a Commercial Lead for Asia to spearhead its advertising sales initiatives in the region. The successful applicant will be tasked with selling to print and digital platforms, as well as integrated campaigns, for new and existing clients in Asia. This full-time role includes establishing a sales pipeline, drafting proposals, coordinating ad materials, and finalizing media packages.

The ideal candidate must possess flexibility and creativity, capable of devising unique plans tailored to diverse client needs. They should proactively identify new revenue streams beyond the standard monthly print and digital cycle. The position requires regular business travel and offers a competitive base salary with additional commission based on generated sales.

Responsibilities also include nurturing the existing client base, cultivating new client relationships, and diversifying the roster of active clients within sectors such as international auction houses, commercial galleries, media agencies, fashion brands, luxury brands, museums, fairs, exhibitions, fashion shows, industry partners, and digital revenue sources.

The candidate will develop innovative sponsorship proposals and collaborate with the editorial team and commercial departments globally to create new supplements, events, digital products, and revenue-driving opportunities.

Closely working with the editorial, partnerships, and subscriptions teams, the Commercial Lead will develop content ideas and new revenue streams while identifying opportunities for subscriptions and multi-faceted commercial partnerships. Regular interaction with Headquarters and other regional sales teams is necessary to create all supporting sales collateral and pitch presentations.
