Jati diri asas lahir insan berkualiti, pemimpin berwibawa, titah Raja Muda Perlis

Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, emphasized the importance of strong self-esteem in cultivating individuals of high quality and benevolent leadership during a recent event. He stressed that self-esteem is not merely about reflecting one's identity or nationality, but rather, it determines one's principles and guides decision-making, particularly in challenging situations.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin highlighted that lacking strong self-esteem can make a person easily influenced by their surroundings, while success without integrity can lead to the loss of meaning. He spoke during the culmination of the Perasmian Penutupan Bengkel Ke Arah Pembinaan Jati Diri Yang Cemerlang for the Best/Achieving and Selected School Monitor Students of Perlis Secondary School 2026 at Hotel Bahang Bay, George Town, Pulau Pinang.

The event also saw Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil and her younger sister, Sharifah Farah Adriana Jamalullail, joining Tuanku Syed Faizuddin. The three-day two-night workshop was organized by the Tuanku Syed Putra Foundation (YTSP) Perlis in collaboration with the Islamic Religious and Malay Customary Councils of Perlis (MAIPs), the Perlis State Education Department, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), and strategic partners, and welcomed 100 students from secondary schools across Perlis.

Two participants received the YTSP Achievement Award for their outstanding performance and involvement throughout the program. A total of 41 best and high-achieving students also received certificates of participation from Tuanku Syed Faizuddin, while Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen distributed certificates to 59 selected monitors. Tuanku Syed Faizuddin also presented appointment letters to two new members of the YTSP Perlis Committee, namely Perlis Education Committee Chairman Ishak Awang and veteran corporate and entrepreneur Syed Mohamad Syed Murtaza.
