India coach on Kuldeep Yadav: ‘One game doesn’t decide the way he has performed’

India's spin bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule has defended the performance of Kuldeep Yadav, stating that one game does not define the bowler's overall contribution to the team. Despite Kuldeep's relatively quiet performance in the first Test, finishing with 1/103 from 25 overs, Bahutule emphasized that he was simply fulfilling the role required by the team.

He explained that Kuldeep had to adapt to different situations and conditions, and made efforts to bowl at various speeds and trajectories. Bahutule reiterated that Kuldeep has always been a match-winner for India and remains an integral part of the team's bowling lineup. The coach also praised Manav Suthar, another spin option, for his accuracy and consistency, describing him as a dependable and reliable option for India.
