KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Energy and Planning & Development, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, pledged the province's full backing for the "Make in Pakistan" initiative during the closing ceremony of the 15th IEEEP Fair 2026. The three-day exhibition, jointly organized by the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) Karachi Centre and Badar Expo Solutions, served as a vital hub for engineers, manufacturers, professionals, and industry stakeholders to connect, collaborate, and display their innovations.

Shah highlighted the urgency of converting policy promises into tangible actions, emphasizing that locally produced goods should receive top priority from government bodies. He affirmed that the Sindh government would provide comprehensive assistance to overcome obstacles such as taxation, duties, and regulations hindering industrial expansion.

Engr. Naveed Akram Ansari, Chairman of IEEEP Karachi Centre, introduced the Made in Pakistan Excellence Award to incentivize top-notch local production and bolster export opportunities.
