BBNaija star Bella Okagbue has spoken out on her split with former boyfriend Sheggz, revealing that she eventually lost faith in his promises and started noticing patterns in their relationship. In a statement on her social media page, Bella revealed that she kept silent about the breakup initially due to a belief that some aspects of their relationship should remain private.

Despite her love for Sheggz, she defended their relationship by believing in their potential for change and even gave him a second chance because she thought people could transform. However, Bella emphasized that while it's possible for someone to change outwardly, their private self might remain unchanged. She cautioned that the public persona one portrays isn't always a true reflection of their inner self.

Bella also addressed rumors about a ring Sheggz allegedly bought for her, stating that a ring cannot mend the fundamental issues that made their relationship untenable. The reality TV star challenged existing accounts of their relationship, asserting that they did not align with her personal experience. She indicated there were other facets of her journey she kept private and said she would address them at a suitable time.

Bella reiterated that despite giving the relationship love, loyalty, and a chance, she eventually recognized that trust, respect, and peace could no longer coexist with loyalty. She clarified that she didn't regret trying again but had decided to prioritize her well-being and walk away.
