How to get 2026 WAEC certificate, others online

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates certificates are now available online through their Digital Certificate Platform. The announcement was made via WAEC's official X handle, urging candidates to access their certificates via the platform.

The examination body highlights the availability of the 2026 WASSCE for School candidate Certificate on the WAEC Digital Certificate Platform, enabling candidates to download, share, and view their certificates.

To access the 2026 WASSCE certificate online, candidates must follow a series of steps. First, they should visit the official WAEC website to access the Digital Certificate Platform. Next, candidates must select Certificate Access and provide the necessary examination details and identification information. Following this, candidates must complete the verification process, which may include OTP authentication.

Upon completion, they can proceed to view and download their digital certificate, saving it securely or sharing it with relevant institutions. Additionally, WAEC advises candidates to use its official digital certificate application available on the Google Play Store for this purpose. It's important to note that the Digital Certificate Platform is separate from the WAEC result-checking portal where candidates can access their examination results.

This new development follows the release of the 2026 WASSCE for School Candidates examination results, where 1,950,726 candidates sat for the examination, with 1,200,514 candidates obtaining credits and above.
