Google Rolls Out AI-Powered JEE, NEET Preparation Tools

Google has introduced AI-powered learning features across its Search and Gemini platforms to assist students preparing for competitive exams like JEE and NEET. These tools are part of Google's "Back to School 2026" initiative, which offers new educational resources across various Google services. The features include practice quizzes for diverse exams, interactive visualizations, and step-by-step guidance via Google Lens.

Google Search will be able to provide practice quizzes and generate interactive visuals to help students grasp complex concepts. A dedicated Student Hub within Gemini allows students to organize academic materials, create flashcards, and receive personalized study materials based on their learning goals. The rollout aims to influence how students utilize standalone edtech platforms for revision and practice tests.

Additionally, Google is offering free access to its Google AI Plus plan for eligible college students outside the US, including India, for one year. This plan includes access to Gemini Omni, higher usage limits, and 400 GB of storage. Google is also providing educators with enhanced controls for AI usage in Google Classroom, enabling them to monitor student progress and create lesson plans.
