Global Elim Foundation awards scholarships to 32 international students

The Global Elim Foundation, founded by the Yoido Full Gospel Church to aid multicultural communities, will present scholarships to 32 international students on August 25, according to the foundation's announcement. The scholarship ceremony will take place at Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, with diplomats from 15 countries in attendance.

The students were chosen through official recommendations from their respective embassies in Korea, then evaluated based on their enrollment status, academic plans, and living conditions. Representing 18 countries, the scholarship recipients hail from Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Peru and Honduras led with three recipients each.

Notable among the scholarship recipients are students from Tajikistan, Ecuador, Kenya, Nepal, Iraq, Sudan, Sri Lanka, El Salvador, Laos, and Cambodia. The scholarship holders are currently pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at 29 universities across the country, such as Seoul National University, Korea University, and Ewha University.
