GAF denies probe into former CDS General Thomas Oppong-Peprah

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has categorically denied reports suggesting that former Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) General Thomas Oppong-Peprah is currently under investigation for various infractions. According to the GAF, the claim is false and lacks any substantiation. In a statement, the military authority clarified that General Oppong-Peprah, who now serves as Ghana’s Deputy High Commissioner to Canada, is not being investigated by the forces.

"The Ghana Armed Forces wishes to state emphatically that the story is false and groundless. No such investigation is being undertaken," the statement unequivocally asserted. The GAF further emphasized to the public to disregard the report and not propagate what they termed as misinformation. The military body appealed to "all well-meaning citizens to ignore the report and cease the spread of such misinformation."
