Friday Cannon Fodder: Hi, My Name Is

Greetings, Arsenal enthusiasts! Welcome to another season at The Sports Fan (TSF). I am Aaron, your captain for this journey through the Premier League. It is an honor to return to guiding the team and, let's be honest, I'm thrilled to be back with you all as DEFENDING PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!

Since Ted founded TSF nearly a decade after the Gunners last won the title, it's our first season together as champions. Quite exciting, isn't it? I've noticed a few new faces in the comments, which fills me with joy. Our community thrives on connection and camaraderie, and I'm glad to see folks making real-life friends through TSF.

To introduce myself, I am Aaron, a proud resident of the D.C. area. My sports fandom extends beyond Arsenal to include the Washington Capitals, Duke University, and LSU football. I'm a big NFL fan, appreciating the sport above any particular team. When I'm not cheering for my teams, you can find me strolling with Gunner the Rescue Dog, my beloved companion.

Outside of sports, I enjoy a variety of hobbies. Cooking, especially for my fiance, is a passion of mine. Working on my yard and cultivating my love for fantasy and sci-fi literature and TV are also great ways for me to unwind. I'm currently diving into Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and I'll listen to nearly any genre of music. And, of course, I appreciate a well-fitted pair of slacks.
