Dax aktuell: Dax notiert kaum verändert knapp über 26.000 Punkten

Düsseldorf - The DAX index remained just above the 26,000-point mark on Friday morning, fluctuating between 25,970 and 26,066 points. On Thursday, the German benchmark index closed 0.4% lower at 25,983 points. If the DAX were to close lower today, it would mark the fifth consecutive negative trading day this week. The last complete weekly loss occurred in April this year, but the DAX is currently holding onto the 21-day line, indicating that the short-term trend remains intact from a technical perspective.

The two biggest market pressures continue to be high oil prices and rising bond yields. On Thursday, yields on 10-year and 30-year US Treasury bonds continued to rise. In Germany, the 30-year bond yielded 3.76% on Friday morning, while the 10-year bond was at 3.24%. The US Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, attempted to curb the yield increase with a proposal for increased buyback volumes, but the impact was short-lived.
