Dax aktuell: Dax notiert im Plus über 26.000 Punkten

Düsseldorf. The DAX index hovered close to the psychologically significant 26,000-point mark on Friday morning before edging higher to record a 0.4% gain at 26,080 points. Earlier in the week, the index closed 0.4% lower at 25,983 points on Thursday. If the DAX were to finish lower on the day due to trading losses, it would mark the fifth negative trading day this week.

Such a complete loss week last occurred in April of this year. However, the DAX continues to hold above the 21-day line, indicating a stable short-term trend according to technical analysis. The two main market pressures remain high oil prices and rising bond yields. On Thursday, yields on 10-year and 30-year US Treasury bonds continued to rise.

In Germany, the 30-year bond yielded 3.76% on Friday morning, while the 10-year bond yielded 3.25%. Attempts by US Treasury Secretary Scott Besseman to curb the yield increase were only temporarily effective. He had indicated a potential increase in the buyback volume.
