Anupama Parameswaran, the actress, has disclosed the harrowing effects of a "narcissistic abuse" relationship she endured for two years. The ordeal led her to undergo surgical intervention, which had never affected her before. The relationship caused her to suffer panic attacks, anxiety, blackouts, and severe weight loss. Her right eye began twitching uncontrollably during shoots, leading to filming delays.

The most severe consequence was the swelling and dropping of her lacrimal gland, necessitating surgery. Anupama emphasizes that none of these issues existed prior to the relationship, which she describes as the most challenging period of her life.
