CCTV captures woman casually stealing clothes outside home

Chonburi residents have been advised to secure their belongings after CCTV footage revealed a woman casually stealing clothes from a drying rack in front of a home. On August 20, 2026, Ms. Nipaporn, 49, brought the footage to the media after witnessing a woman allegedly take clothes from the racks in Soi 7, Arunothai, Nong Prue subdistrict, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi province.

The footage captures a well-dressed woman, wearing a sleeveless black T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers, carrying a black basket and a face mask. She approached the clothes racks, browsed through the garments as if shopping, selected items, and placed them in the basket before leaving. Nipaporn had hung clothes on the racks before going to bed and was shocked to find some missing the next morning.

She discovered the theft on CCTV and urged local authorities to increase patrols in the area for residents' safety. Nipaporn also warned residents to take extra precautions, even for low-value items, as unsecured belongings could attract thieves.
