BNCMC Commissioner Inspects Ganesh Immersion Sites In Bhiwandi Ahead Of Ganeshotsav 2026

Ahead of the Ganeshotsav festival in 2026, Bhiwandi-Nizampur Municipal Corporation (BNCMC) Commissioner Anmol Sagar conducted an inspection of the Tadali pond and Varala devi pond in Kamatghar. The festival is scheduled to take place from September 14 to September 25, 2026. During the inspection, Sagar assessed the water quality, cleanliness, safety arrangements, and condition of the immersion ghats at both sites.

He directed officials to complete any lingering repair work promptly, ensuring adequate lighting around the pond premises, and installing sturdy safety barricades to safeguard devotees during idol immersion, especially given the anticipated large crowds. Local Corporator Kamalakar Patil shared insights on traffic and crowd management plans with the Commissioner.

The Water Supply Department's Executive Engineer Sandeep Patanwar and Deputy Engineer Uddhav Gawade provided updates on the deployment of technical personnel, emergency rescue teams, and arrangements for drinking water at the immersion site. Commissioner Sagar directed officials to complete all necessary works within the designated timeframe to prevent any inconvenience to devotees during the immersion process.

The BNCMC administration emphasized preparations centered on public safety, cleanliness, and environmentally responsible celebrations. They have been instructed to ensure all essential facilities are in place before the festival begins. The civic administration aims to closely monitor the designated immersion points throughout the festival to ensure smooth movement of devotees and safe immersion operations.
