Police in Anambra State have uncovered the tragic story behind the murder of 56-year-old Kelechi Madu. The victim, who had reportedly gone missing, was found dead in a nearby bush after his friend, Ifeanyi Nwankwo, confessed to hiring assassins to carry out the act. The motive behind the brutal murder was the result of Madu being duped by Nwankwo into believing he would receive a piece of land, only for Nwankwo to secretly steal the money.
Two additional individuals were enlisted to carry out the heinous crime.
