Akar umbi Umno Terengganu belum sepakat pilih PH

Umno Terengganu is yet to reach an agreement on whether they will collaborate with Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the upcoming election, according to Nik Dir Nik Wan Ku, the deputy chief of Umno Terengganu. While there are individuals within the party who favor certain alliances, there is no definitive stance on which party should be chosen as the partner.

The deputy chief emphasized that not all Umno members share the same view, and they remain open to discussions with any alliance, including PH or Perikatan Nasional (PN) led by PAS. He dismissed claims by a PKR Terengganu leader that BN and PH were secretly agreeing to collaborate, stating that the current negotiations do not cover the issue of ministerial positions or constituency allocations, which are determined by the Sultan of Terengganu.

The focus for Umno Terengganu is currently on the parliamentary election, as the outcome at that level can influence the state's political landscape. The party is not yet discussing the appointment of a minister or constituency allocations, as the Sultan will ultimately decide on these matters.
