Adeleke calls for healing, unity after re-election

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has urged residents to embrace healing, unity, and collaboration as he was re-elected to a second term in the recent gubernatorial election. In a statement shared on social media, Adeleke expressed profound gratitude to the people of Osun for their continued trust and confidence in him. He described the re-election as a collective achievement.

The governor thanked various stakeholders, including traditional rulers, religious leaders, civil servants, pensioners, youths, women, artisans, traders, farmers, and all other residents who supported his administration and actively participated in the election. Adeleke emphasized that this victory belonged to the entire state and accepted the renewed mandate with humility and a profound sense of responsibility.

He also paid tribute to the victims of electoral violence that occurred prior to the election, offering condolences to their families and expressing his deepest sympathies. The governor called on the citizens to set aside the divisions that emerged during the election and concentrate on the future prosperity of Osun State.
