7 Dogs movie review: Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are wasted in predictable actioner

Producer Amit Jani has turned to the Supreme Court in a bid to overturn a recent order that barred the promotion of the film Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy. The Delhi High Court issued an interim injunction on July 27, restricting the dissemination of the film's teaser and related materials due to a personality rights dispute with actor Salman Khan.

Jani, who runs Jani FireFox Films, is contesting the High Court's decision, arguing that it was enacted without proving how the film's content specifically infringed upon Salman Khan's persona. The appeal asserts that permitting personality rights to be used in this manner could lead to a form of private censorship of artistic, journalistic, and historical expression related to matters that are already part of public discourse.
