In the tenth day of the Huskies' defense journey, the spotlight shines on five promising defenders who stand out from the rest. Among them is LB Zaydrius Rainey-Sale, who managed to bounce back from a torn ACL and is now a strong contender for the starting position. With his impressive physical tools and versatile skills, Rainey-Sale could potentially lead Washington to one of the best linebacker corps in the country.

Another player to watch is S Rylon Dillard-Allen, who has already made a name for himself by being physical, confident, and unafraid in his debut season. Although he has crossed the line into foul territory, the safety coach Taylor Mays is working with him on playing up to the line and maintaining discipline.
