3 injured after donkey jumps into a van, kicking and biting, in northern Germany

Three individuals were injured after a donkey named Freddy went on a rampage, leaping into a van and aggressively kicking and biting them in Holssel, Germany. The incident transpired on Friday near a roundabout, when the animal, accompanied by a horse, was found running loose.

Upon discovering the wild donkey, motorists attempted to regain control of the situation. However, the situation escalated rapidly when the 33-year-old female passerby who tried to assist the motorists also sustained injuries.

The police stated that the reason for the animal's sudden aggressive behavior remains unknown. The owner of Freddy eventually intervened, bringing an end to the chaotic event. Both the motorists and the woman who came to their aid required medical attention, with the woman receiving treatment at the hospital. The nature of the aggression displayed by the donkey is currently under investigation.
