‘Words they had to Google’: Shashi Tharoor set to question government for ‘Netflix documentary’
Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor has waded into the trend surrounding his "Preparing for my Netflix Documentary" clip, using it as an opportunity to criticize the government. The video, which has garnered over four million views, shows the seasoned politician donning an imaginary microphone and dramatically prepping for an upcoming documentary.
In the clip, Tharoor humorously remarks that he is "preparing for a documentary where I explain how I got the government to answer difficult questions using words they had to Google." This joke plays on Tharoor's penchant for using complex vocabulary, with terms like "floccinaucinihilipilification" and "lalochezia" becoming internet memes.
Social media users have responded with amusement, praising Tharoor's wit and cleverly using the opportunity to critique government transparency.
